Here is a poem written by Nicholas Power which was inspired by a set of improvised music performed by me, drummer/percussionist Germaine Liu and bassist Jim Sexton at the LoD Series in Toronto.

Was started in 1997 by Ken Aldcroft and John Sorensen to produce and promote creative original music projects in the form of recordings, concerts and tours. Trio Records has released eleven recordings with three
more slated for release in 2011: the Convergence Ensemble "Sneaky Pete", Hat & Beard "Live at Somewhere There" and Solo Ken Aldcroft "Home". Trio Records has also produced or co-produced over twenty concerts which have included the Ken Aldcroft Quartet performing live scores to Buster Keaton's "The General" and "Our Hospitality", Mark Helias' Open Loose Trio and the Swell / Ullman 4tet featuring Barry Altschul.
Trio Records recordings are available from this website through
